Funding

  • The Department of Student Activities and Student Organizations offers different funding opportunities based on eligibility. 

  • The Late Night Programming Grant provides grants of up to $1,000 to groups that sponsor programs the enhance the Late Night campus experience.

  • Co--sponsorship funding is available from the Department of Student Activities & Student Organizations for signature events that benefit UM students and/or the UM community.

  • The Graduate Activity Fee Allocation Committee (GAFAC) distributes the unallocated portion of the Graduate Activity fee to graduate students that have paid the Graduate Activity Fee.

  • CaneFunder campaigns can be used to help students fundraise for their individual student organizations. Students can raise funds for a program project, or activity. More information can be found in this resource guide or questions can be emailed to canefunder@miami.edu

  • Donations to student organizations can be made online with a credit card. Donors should be directed to Student Organizations giving site (link: miami.edu/studentorggiving)

  • COSO-registered student organizations can collect dues, funds for club merchandise (such as t-shirts), and co-payments for club activities using the Student Organization Payment site (link: miami.edu/studentorgpayment).
