SOAR Awards

Student Organization Achievement & Recognition (SOAR) Awards

Each spring, the Committee on Student Organizations (COSO) recognizes outstanding student leaders and organizations. All nominees and nominators will be notified and required to RSVP through OrgSync. This year’s SOAR Awards will be held on Tuesday, April 23rd in the Shalala Student Center Ballrooms.

Please take this opportunity to honor our students, advisors, student groups for their contributions and hard work to better the University of Miami and its surrounding community. Nominations are welcome from students, faculty, and staff. Self-nominations are also accepted. You are invited to nominate multiple student groups and students for one award or multiple awards. When nominating the same group or student for multiple awards, the nomination must be unique to the award. We will not accept duplicate text for multiple awards.

SOAR Award nominations are rated based on overall quality of the written response with regard to organization, grammar, and effectiveness. When submitting a nomination, note that the depth of information and details you provide will influence the committee’s consideration of your nomination.
